Shelves: crime-thriller
Read this book a long time ago and I still love it! This time around, I switched to the audiobook, which was well done by Elliot Gould. His acting parts were perfect, but his plain narration tended to be a little flat.

I have not read much in noir, but most experts put this one at the top ten, if not the top one.
