Umm...I don't know what to think. It was certainly an exciting story, chalked full of....everything!!
I really can not review this one. There were things that I loved, and things that I didn't. I can say, without a doubt, however, that I will return to the Dresdenverse very soon. I think I just need a bit of a break. ...more

“Holy shit," I breathed. "Hellhounds."
"Harry," Michael said sternly. "You know I hate it when you swear."
"You're right. Sorry. Holy shit," I breathed, "heckhounds.
 Jim Butcher, Grave Peril
Loved this book!
edited to add: Second listening - still great. This is where the series really picks up. ...more

This third installment of The Dresden Files wasn't so much a stand-alone book as it was the launch of an extended storyline. All the new characters made Grave Peril a crowded jumble but maybe it will pay off in the rest of the series.
