So it took me a little while to get into this story. It wasn't the typical world building or even the introduction to multiple wolf packs.

it was the love triangle. UGH! It makes me want to pull my own hair out!! and then slap all parties involved.

The back story about the world was pretty indepth and pretty cool. But, werewolves aren't my typical genre - and this is not my typical kind of book. But I didn't mind it in this one. There wasn't a lot of lore, just enough to keep the story interesting ...more

Shelves: young-adult, fantasy, dystopia

An interesting book. It starts out as a simple werewolf romance/love triangle. At some point I realized it was much more and I loved it that much more.

I struggled to understand the relationship between the Keepers, the Guardians and the Searchers. I don't really consider the humans a major player in the story. They seem more like backdrop and props for the most part and they're even pretty much ignored by the paranormal folks.

First off I loved this book.At first I didn't really like Shay but then he grow on me.If it was up to me Calla should be with Ren.I liked him a lot better the Shay.I liked Calla ok but there was something I didn't really like about her. I just put my finger on it.I really liked the world building in the book and it was a great story line. This is one of the best young adult werewolf book I have read in a long time.
