I was going to give this book a 3/5 star rating but, after reading a wonderful review, I found I agreed completely with the reviewer and kicked it up a star.

What I didn't like was the slow pace. At the end of "Matched," Ky had been sent to the Outer Provinces and Cassia chose to be banished in order to find him. 3.5/5 Slightly better than the first book. The first part is a litte bit confusiong (I've forgotten the plot of the series lol), but the second part has a more beautiful writing, even if it's still slow and without action. ...more

4.5 stars

I loved this book. It is just as good, if not better, than Matched. But why the 4.5 stars?

But besides that, it was an awesome book. I will definitely be picking up the final book in the series.
