this one was a bit confusing as to stuff relating to Bishop and Amelie..
i really felt sorry for Shane- he really didnt wanna do so much of that stuff, but bcoz of Claire he had to, she either forced him to or she was threatened if he didnt do it. stupid Ysandre chick >:|

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I liked it as much as I liked the others. It seems like there鈥檚 constantly something going on and there is plenty of action to keep you entertained if you like that kind of thing.
At first I felt like the book started out slow, but the ending; when Claire and everyone attended the ball was fast paced and really captured my attention. I wanted to know what was going to happen and I was very interested at that point.
I admit that I do like Claire. I honestly feel like she鈥檚 growing with each book I liked it as much as I liked the others. It seems like there鈥檚 constantly something going on and there is plenty of action to keep you entertained if you like that kind of thing.

I admit that I do like Claire. I honestly feel like she鈥檚 growing with each book and becoming stronger each time. She鈥檚 beginning to act more like a grown up and make her own choices more. She realises that there will be consequences for the things she does and she acts accordingly.
I鈥檓 still a massive Michael and Eve fan, but I liked Shane a bit more in this book. I like that it appears he鈥檚 finally getting used to the fact that Michael is a vampire and he doesn鈥檛 act out against his friend as much anymore. Which is nice....I prefer it when all 4 main characters are friends and not fighting with each other. Lord knows there鈥檚 enough conflict in Morganville without them being at each other too.

I will say that I do like Myrnin; more than I did at the beginning. There鈥檚 no denying that he鈥檚 an interesting character. There鈥檚 so much to him and with his illness that makes him act irrationally it鈥檚 hard to know just who the real 鈥渉im鈥� is. Is he one of the cruel, extremely evil vampires? Or is he one of the kinder ones? He treats Claire fairly well when he鈥檚 lucid, but is that just a show or is it actually real? I for one would like to know.
There were a couple of developments in this book. I thought it was good that Claire鈥檚 parents finally learned the truth about Morganville. It鈥檚 about time they realised that everything is not what it seems.
And Amerie. Oh, Amerie. I really don鈥檛 know what to think of her. One moment I like her, the next I鈥檇 love to stake her. I think it鈥檚 due to the fact that she changes so often. You never really know what you鈥檙e going to get from her. At the end of this book I actually liked her; she appeared to put the safely of everyone as a whole above her own and that of the vampires. But I do wonder.....how long will that last?
Also, Bishop鈥檚 blood is the cure...... Talk about intriguing. His blood has the ability to cure the disease that all the vampires will have. It鈥檚 going to be interesting to see how Amerie and the other vampires manage to use that to save themselves.....

So far the best one! I couldn't stop reading. Feast of Fools has everything a great books needs! Loved the Shane/Claire, Shane/Michael, Shane/Richard scenes (yeah I kinda like Shane :P) . Also all the things going on, it never gets boring..the countdown and the last third was thrilling! Also a good cliffhanger. Can't wait to read the next one ...more
