What Members Thought
It's too bad about this book, because it's a fun idea -- a darker retelling of Alice in Wonderland -- but SO badly written. I had to force myself to finish it. The phrasing and pacing were wildly off most of the time, and in general it felt like it was more of an outline than a fleshed out novel. Lots of battle scenes that felt like they were being recounted to me by my brother when he was in elementary school. Or to quote another review: "It's four hundred pages of the "and then" style of story
