What Members Thought
Generally I like National Book award winners, and this is no exception. Honest, unflinching and ending, despite the tone of most of the book, ending in hope. I wasn't really sure on this one, examining New York in the mid 70s isn't exactly up there on my list of topics to read about. I enjoyed it. Each chapter describes the experiences of different characters and they gradually intertwine, some first person, some third.

Finally done!! amazing book. I loved the way every story tied up so beautifully in the end
