When I first read the synopsis of this book, I was a little bit reluctant to start reading. Although dystopian fiction is one of my favourites, it all sounded a little bit ‘YA-romancey’� to me. However, as I skimmed through the first few pages, I decided maybe it could be better than it sounded.

Set among a post nuclear landscape, the world building undertaken in this book is not for the faint of heart. I really really enjoyed this novel. It has got to be my favourite YA novel of the year and one of the best dystopian novels I've ever read.
I know what you're thinking, not another dystopian novel, but I really suggest you read this one. It just feels different to me, different from the others.

A slight bit to dystopian for my taste! Can't quite grasp the "fusing" of people to other people as well as inanimate objects. Story line is pretty good though. I like the way that it switches back and forth from character point of views.
