What Members Thought
Atwood creates a feminist twist on the classic epic of the Odyssey by Homer. Those who are familiar with Homer's epic would benefit a great deal in reading this adaptation. Though in saying that to those that are unfamiliar, it provides a wondrous tale about a woman's (Penelope) reflection of her past, which I found captivating. I found is surprisingly entertaining and enjoyed the story that Atwood created for Penelope, who in the Odyssey had no voice other than being the loyal wife of Odysseus.

I think I wanted something more in depth, and this just skimmed the surface. It was fun, but a little unsatisfying in the end.
