This book is impossible to describe, except in perhaps in some abstract generalities: unsettlingly surreal, disturbingly violent, fantastically illogical. One part Kafka, two parts David Lynch's "Lost Highway," this book twists and turns with the surreal logic of a nightmare, probing the fluid and sometimes random nature of identity, relationships, and personal crisis.
