I definitely liked the Off Campus series better, but this was a solid intro into some new characters. Summer's cameo in the Off Campus series was a good one, so it was interesting to see more of her story. I like that this touched on some current issues (learning disabilities, sexual harassment), as Elle Kennedy has done in some of her other books. I enjoyed Summer's character & her tenacity, and I really liked meeting Brenna (the hockey coach's daughter). It was fun to get to see the cameos of

3.5 stars. I actually read The Chase twice, this was my first Elle Kennedy book and I felt like I was missing a lot the first time. When I reread it after reading all of the Off Campus Series, I liked it a lot more! It works as a stand alone but I think it reads better after knowing the storyline and characters from her first series.

I like the Off Campus Series better than Briar U so far. Summer was slightly annoying but I did enjoy the banter.
