It took forever to learn what was going on, since we're in the dark as readers almost as much as Lucinda, which made it hard at times to stay interested. I could've done without the love triangle, but maybe it'll play into something important in the next book. I hated (view spoiler)

I plan to continue with the series.

The charming and personable Cam seems to be vying for her attention as well, but no matter how inviting ...more

Just barely 3 stars. Another cool, but overrated YA book. A little more action and more revelations would've made it a good book, instead of an okay book.

Likes:
* mysterious, aloof, handsome orphan "boy"
* Callie, Luce's best friend sounded like a good BFF
* cool bookcover

This is the second time I'm reading this book and while I still like it, the glamour of it wore off the second time around.

First off I have to say my favorite character is Cam. I love me a bad boy. He is everything I'd want in a guy and he's totally my type. I love the bad boy act, his sarcasm, his sweetness, his caring, the way he can make a girl feel like she's the only one in the world. I love how bad ass he is and how he fights. I also love the green eyes and black hair (Reminds me of my #1

This book was not good. The intro of the book revealed the plot of the whole story, so when the main character got to the big "Revelation" the reader already knew it. Dumb.

Somewhat frustrating read due to the mysterious nature of the plot, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm looking forward to starting the sequel. ...more

This book was a bit disappointing I think. It's not that it was a bad story, I just missed something. It's hard to explain. ...more
