Having read and enjoyed numerous books in the Steel family by M J Fields I couldn’t wait to read Smashed Steel and get to know more of the second generation of the Steel family. Smashed Steel was well written and a great addition to the series . This is Amias Steel and Ellis Stavros’s story and was an entertaining read.

Amias is one confident compassionate loyal loving man. He see’s what he wants and goes for it. Ellis is on amazingly strong compassionate loving woman. Ellis has not had an easy life. But that doesn’t stop her from going after what she wants. Could not wait to see where Amias and Ellis would take there story. What an amazing chemistry and instant connection. Amiias is one of my favorite alpha steel men. A must read.

Just when I thought these guys couldn't out romance their parents along comes Amias to remind them how it is done. At the heart of all these books both in this series and in the original Men of Steel is the importance of family and no matter what is thrown at them they stay a strong unit. I want to start by saying that I was pleasantly surprised with this storyline. Even though Amias is younger than Ellis, they talked about it but they didn't bring it up repeatedly. They both have a history of family issues and they talked through them for the most part. I appreciated that the females helped her and his entire family immediately accepted her daughter.

Big Hugs! SO SWOONY! Dear Lord this book was amazingly everything. My is the sweetest thing ever. Ellis is such a strong independent leading lady. Who holds her own against them all. I absolutely loved this.
This has been for me, my favourite story from the next generation of Steels so far and the one book from the series that I feel you could dive into and read on a stand alone basis.
This was a really easy and enjoyable read. The story flowed well and I was reluctant to put the book down. This series has been high angst and drama but I liked how it wasn’t the case for this story. MJ has hit it out of the park. Amias is definitely my favorite, he will definitely make you swoon hard. Amias & Ellis are absolutely perfect together. Once I started reading I was completely hooked. Ellis & Amias have been through so much and they both deserve their perfect HEA. Another amazing Steel read that everyone must one click.

Amias and Ellis are awesome. I love that she has overcome so much to be Betty Bada**. I always love getting updates on first gen as well. They will always be my favorite. 3rd gen of Steel is going to as thick as thieves too. I can’t wait for more Steel.
