Marquise Three DNFs in one month and a half? That's quite bad. :(

Sarah u I know, I said to my husband the other night it's enough to put one off reading! I think I'm just on a bad run. The worst thing is I thought I'd really like two of them.

Marquise I sympathise with you. I can't imagine the frustration this must've been, because so far I've been fortunate to never DNF that many books in a row. The worst run I had was giving 1 star to four consecutive books. But I have seen others here who've had really bad slumps, going weeks and weeks on a DNF-DNF-Me Likey-DNF-DNF rollercoaster. :)

Sarah u Thanks, I DNFd three books last year so to do it in a few weeks as three in a row is so frustrating! I've just started Augustus which I've wanted to read for a while, so fingers crossed this will break the trend.

Marquise Oh! I've meaning to read that for years, but somehow I never picked it up, and it's not in my immediate plans. It's been recommended by people I trust, so I hope it will break the trend.

If not, you know there's always taking a break and reading something light, humorous. The "fluffies," as I call them, are magical for bad reading days. :D
