But the future? As she said earlier, she has no idea what will happen when she leaves in January, and neither do I. But if I worry about the terrible-then, I’ll miss out on the spectacular-now.
I love her, and when you love someone, you don’t say no if there’s the slimmest chance you can say yes. Even if it’s inconvenient. Even if it doesn’t always make sense. Love isn’t just in what you say…it’s also in what you do.
