Every time I see One Hundred Years of Solitude somewhere I am reminded of that one time almost I flunked a Spanish elective class (as a Spanish-native speaker!) during my first year of high school, because the examinator didn't believe there was a genre called magical realism. 🤦♀�
I've never heard of Magical Realism before and I probably wouldn't have picked up this book on my own because the title sounds like a meditation book of some sort, so I'm excited to try something new. 🥰 Thanks recommending it!
1 - I still haven't emotionally recovered from reading The Time Traveller's Wife's (over a DECADE AGO)
2 - There's a new TV series based on this book on Netflix that I want to watch!
