“Perceiving types always focus on the journey but are not bothered about the destination (they don’t care if they never arrive), while judging types are all about the destination, and the journey is the necessary evil to get there. These are two totally different and incompatible worldviews. This is why perceiving types dismiss judging solutions, and judging types find perceiving “solutionsâ€� ludicrous. What a perceiving type considers “enlightenmentâ€� has nothing in common with what a judging type considers enlightenment.”
