Unbeknown to Jory it is also the Planet his mother chose to rise as Goddess to and his father is ensuring that Jory and his mother are reconnected, too. I enjoyed this story and the world building in it, Jory is smart, strong and sweet also a beautiful man who is able to charm. I will read the other books in this series because this novel was entertaining for me. ...more

I really wish that Ming Le Bon's death would happen! Grrr! He has his coming, way overdue let me tell you! I really enjoy Noor and Keenan, they are such sweet kids! I love how they played their parts in this novel.

Extremely good story of two damaged and powerful individuals, who find each other after many years because of a potential catastrophe on the PsyNet.
ThExtremely good story of two damaged and powerful individuals, who find each other after many years because of a potential catastrophe on the PsyNet.
The only issue I had with this is that what was happening on the PsyNet sometimes I struggled with the description of what was taking place.
I also liked the side story of Arwen and his bear. I read Storm Echo and realising I'd somehow purchased and not read this book, I new I had to come and read the story on Ivan's brothers.
I like the plot line of this but there is no conclusion to what happens next, so that made this less enjoyable. I've already read this through twice and purchased the audible recording, too. I adored Evan's boyish first attempts to connect with Lei, willing to wait for her to return to the spot they first met and even partaking a meal that he would never probably willingly consume if it wasn't that she made it.
Darkriver embracing Lei into the Pack and her pleasure at finally having a Pack of her own where she feels like Pack is also a lovely theme throughout the novel. The bonding and connection to Lucas and the Pack, the reunion's with her loved one's are all special parts of the novel.
The Scarabs and Scarab Queen, are very insidious and dreadful entities on the PsyNet and are true nemesis, that the Council, Arrows and Krychek are trying to cope with....more

Graceling - a birth 'gift' called Grace. There are numerous Graces; mind reading, killing, voice control.
* Katsa > killing Grace; might be 'survival' Grace.
*Po > sensing Grace and warrior
*Leck > lying and manipulation Grace
This follows Katsa and Po on their mission to save a kingdom from the evil that controls it. They also need to protect a young Princess who is being hunted by the King of the Kingdom, who murders her mother. There's heroes and villains plenty, great kingdoms and castles, there are princesses and princes with plenty of Graces. Some good, some better than the next. Overall this has an interesting plot and the world building seems good. Probably the full novel is more detailed but the images do a great job of aiding imagination of what it would be like.
I have looked at the rest of the series and will probably continue to find out what happens. ...more
