Like seriously, you create a mirror world and have it be casually misogynistic in a way that threw me right back to the 2000s. The bullying is at a level that is truly hateful (as in deliberately digging into a character's deepest trauma) and I have a feeling the perpetrators are just going to be forgiven in the future.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if someone told me the book was written with the intention of being made into a TV show. The world building is intriguing enough (other than the ridiculous levels of misogyny), but if I continue with the series it will definitely be a hate-read....more
