I'm still excited about the upcoming movie with Glen Powell, but now I'm intrigued by what changes they make while adapting the book.
FYI: For audiobook listeners, skip the introduction by Stephen King if you don't want the ending foreshadowed/spoiled by the author himself. ...more

My least favorite entry to the series by a decent margin. I may have just enjoyed the dynamics at the school, but now the series has expanded to literally the edge of the map established in the first book. It may be that I felt like this book felt drawn out at times, and the small interpersonal moments between the peaks of the plot did not land the same as the first two. Maybe I'm getting irked that each book appears to end on a cliffhanger like an overly dramatized TV show (e.g., Grey's Anatomy, The Night Agent), but other fantasy authors (i.e., Sanderson, Rowling) have proven does not need to be done. Will I continue the series? Of course. I'm committed at this point, but it appears that I will have to wait, as it may be a bit until the fourth installment is published.
Disclaimer: Yes, this book does have romantic garbage in it, but I will say it is way less frequent compared to the first two installments. However, I did audible portions of this book for the first time in this series, and let's say I was more than uncomfortable listening to those portions....more

It covers many of their typical views they discuss daily on the show, but George provides some pretty harrowing statistics to support their positions. With that said, it's just hard to get on board for a few of their views (anti credit card, ETFs, mortgages) because they're simply wrong if you're a financially literate and disciplined individual. Sadly, many Americans are missing both those traits so the lessons in this book will guide them to a better future. 2.5 stars but I'm going to round down because this book also serves as a glorified infomercial for multiple Ramsey Solutions products and services which comes off as tacky and self-serving....more
