The series as a whole was addicting and very entertaining, full of drama, banter, angst and tension.
They were a few details in the books that I wasn’t really a big fan of and others I really did greatly appreciate. As a whole I had a fun time with this series and I’m excited to explore more from Monica Murphy’s books.

I’m honestly living for the drama and like book one this book kept me entertained the entire time. I will say I think I enjoyed the general pacing of I’m honestly living for the drama and like book one this book kept me entertained the entire time. I will say I think I enjoyed the general pacing of the story a little bit more in this one. Our main characters frustrated me more than once but I think in this book they were supposed to, even then they both grew on me and I am enjoying their story very much. Can’t wait to start book 3 because ohh that ending.

So knowing beforehand that this book had that as the main focus of the plot was the biggest reason why I was so excited to dive into this one. I was hooked fairly soon and it kept me entertained the entire time, the ending definitely left me at the edge of my seat and I’m picking up book two (the ruthless groom) immediately after this. I’m excited to keep reading and see how the characters and story unfolds, also it was so fun to realize this book was in the same universe that others of Monica Murphy’s books!! Overall it was definitely entertaining and it left me intrigued to keep reading.
