Like I said before, there is finger pointing but no direct blame because the finger keeps moving. They all have a legitimate claim. The complexity of humans is so real in this book. ...more

The narration style came across as very flat, like I was listening to someone narrate what they are watching on a video. I think the underlying idea was great, but the character development was lacking, and dialogue was poor. The focus was on written jump-scares, which start to diminish in their thrill level the more you come across. This book would have been elevated if there was a sense of growing dread instead of being hit over the head with over the top, cinematic horror. ...more
