- sometimes i lost feelings for Rhys (IDK WHY) - the amount of time jumps really messed with my head - i was super confused for a good 10% of the book wondering if Rhys was Bridgets cousin - something just feels missing?
but other than that, i like this series a lot! i am SO unbelievably excited for Jules and Josh’s book, i have a feeling that one will be my favorite since i’ve been obsessed with them from book 1. i think Rhys was hilarious and bridget was such a bad bitch i loved her. the amount of unnecessary drama in this book was ... another level BUT i will say it was very entertaining. was is MZ tier? no. but it was still a great book! i would still recommend ❤️...more

idk this is kind of the walmart version of birthday girl to be honest, i think the plot could’ve been better. i wish she made the build up a little longer? i think it was only like 20 pages and she kissed the dad already. i kind of hoped it would at least be like 80-100 pages in so we got some backstory and a lot more tension/ angst so when they finally did kiss then it would be that much more amazing.
besides that, it was an okay book! id recommend it if you need to get out of a reading slump but this might be one of those books where i forget what happened like a month later PFTTT....more

the amount of times i squealed in this book was INSANEE- i swear i was smiling 80% of the time. i was also always on my toes wondering what was going to happen next.
i will say that towards the last 60 pages i started to get so frustrated because this issue they had could’ve been easily put out if they had just TALKED ABT IT!!! like if they didn’t keep it to themselves then this book would’ve been so much shorter if i’m being honest but when they worked it out it was that much more rewarding.

i really liked this book i genuinely was not bored once the whole time. was it the best romance book i’ve ever read? no. was it life-changing or a favorite? ehh.
idk this book although interesting and had swoon worthy moments, i felt like things were skipped over a lot. maybe if the author made it longer and added just... more? i don’t know how to put it but i felt like something was missing.
anywho i actually like LJ shen’s writing more times than not, i actually laughed out loud sometimes.
otherwise, i would still read this book if you’re in a reading slump and want something fun to read! i honestly think mariana zapatas books have genuinely tainted any other romance books for me NGL.

i thought at first i was gonna be super weirded out considering the age gap and the whole boyfriends dad thing but i was only weirded out like twice and it was mild.
i literally could not put this book down, i spent the whole day reading and i don’t regret it.
if you’re worried about this book being icky, i promise you the author does a great job making it not super weird or anything.
i definitely need to finished Punk 57 now that i’ve read this book. that ending too??? AHHHH!! so so good.
highly recommend, if you’re in a reading slump, this would be a great one to help you out of it!
