I heard about this book from Jon Haidt’s Coddling of the American Mind, which is excellent.
On the other hand this book is far too long and the author often talks less like his argument and ideas are superior and more like he is superior. It is overlong and suffers too much from Taleb’s ego. He may have *the* key to making medicine, nutrition, economics, and politics better, but he’d be more convincing if he didn’t constantly have to tell his readers how much smarter he was than everyone else....more
