But all I know is that I had this CD (as well as many others) at a very young age and it helped develop my love and education of classical music.
And this one was my favourite. It still holds strong to me after all this time - the excellent narration, the choice of music per plot, the easy story told in less than 50 minutes. Magical and beautiful and exciting....more

The audiobook narrator was mid - spoke too fast. But it was an interesting story. I don't think it's one that caters to my interests, but it was easy enough to follow and finish. It went in a different direction than I expected (thanks Hollywood) but for that I am thankful because it provided a different message that I could appreciate. I don't think I was a fan of how Lopez shifted from present to past each chapter, but that was a personal gripe....more

Unfortunately, the audiobook narrator for this book was horrendous - he sounded like an A.I. creation. And much of the story did not appeal to me - I cared more about the plot that we rarely examined (the dead god and Stephen's paladin-ness) than the half-hazard look into a random magical murderer, a courtroom drama, and two idiots who pine for each other throughout the whole thing. I won't be continuing the series....more
