Also I did feel that if I had familiarity with some of Shakespeare's works quoted in the book, I would have understood it better.

I think that if you have loved the previous books in the series, you will find the quality and tone of this one pretty consistent.
The Bridge Kingdom is fantasy romance at its peak for me. The entire series is 5 stars and I will keep reading anything else the author writes in this world (and probably in general)....more
