The only thing I didn't love was how Frank's character was laid out. I get that he was patient and gentle because he loved Beth, but to constantly clear the way for her to cheat and then take the fall for her ex boyfriend's son...he came off as a doormat and I lost respect for him. It's not easy to write a well-knit thriller with a plot twist and I applaud the author for trying, especially in the YA space. I guess if you're new to thrillers, you might enjoy it but there were a lot of hints dropped throughout the book that made the conclusion pretty obvious...more

Won't give away too much but it was an interesting premise.
Maybe this is my 2025 woke era talking but I thought Lincoln was creepy instead of cute, especially when he kept reading emails that weren't flagged. Idk, I'd find it off if some guy read emails where I called him cute, like he was taking advantage of it.
