He had a lot of influence on me going to Vietnam (and falling in love with it as he did).
This was a pretty honest look at the making of this show and how everyone in the production side pretty much made it the focus of their lives. Tony was not an easy boss or even a nice guy all the time. And when you’re traveling around the world to make a show, how do you avoid having it dominate your life? And then to have it to screech to a halt with suicide by the main character. Not all of it was terrible - what a ride to jet around the world and experience all these amazing places - and when Tony was good, he was great. ...more
