I LOVED the relationship between the boys and Hayley. They were the perfect amount of sweet and teasing. In the beginning I was a little annoyed with Hayley’s character, but after hearing everything that happened to her??? My jaw actually dropped. I loved the way it all came to light, and that she didn’t fall apart over it. She was genuinely such a strong FMC. Chris was pretty good as a MMC, some miscommunication things were annoying for me but that’s okay. His protectiveness was just enough for me to love and not think he’s psychotic.
I will say that some of the plot points felt a little unnecessary for me. The whole thing with Chris and the Buzzards was just blah. I also felt like the ending was very very rushed - I wanted more tension and suspense. I especially wanted more details about how Hayley was doing afterward.
I will always be wishing there was an extra epilogue....more
I liked that Luke and Harper had a lot of chemistry from the beginning and that we didn’t have to wait long for them to get together. I think that Luke was a total douchebag when he got home from deployment and that Harper forgave him way too easily. The third act break up could have worked with this situation, but fell flat of making sense to me. I loved the friendship between Aldo and Harper, probably my favorite part of the book....more

I get why it was for the romance to progress but I felt like it kind of undermined Naomi’s healing journey. If I heard Mack say “gorgeous curves� one more time I was going to loose it....more
