I absolutely LOVED Secrets of Dumbledore. The plot, the character development, the balance between the dark and the humorous moments..Regarding the film, Mads Mikkelsen absolutely nailed the role of Grindelwald and his chemistry with Jude Law's Dumbledore was amazing. Definitely my favorite Grindelwald. I also really liked how a fantastic beast, the qilin, was central to the plot concurrently with the Dumbledore - Grindelwald plot. The fight sequences were amazing. The visual effects on Dumbledore's fight with Credence were top notch and the fight with Grindelwald made me so emotional..
Grindelwald's "Who will love you now, Dumbledore? You're all alone" destroyed me as well as the Aberforth - Credence moment: "Always"! Definitely my favorite Fantastic Beasts movie.
As far as the screenplay is concerned, it is also my favourite out of the three. I really enjoyed the sketches, pictures and commentary from the people involved in the film. All in all, a great experience. I hope that the Fantastic Beasts franchise will continue and we'll have the last 2 films promised to us, or even written for us in novel form. I really love these movies, the characters and the lessons they give us....more

I really enoyed it - not as much as the first or third film - but I thought it was a great continuation to the franchise. I also really enjoyed the plot which, although was somewhat convoluted at times, moved the story forward. I really liked the new characters as well, specifically Nagini, Theseus and Leta. I 'd really love to learn more about Nagini and how she ended up with Voldemort. All in all, a really good film and screenplay. Next is The Secrets of Dumbledore, which is my favourite film out of the three. Can't wait to read its screenplay and get lost in the magic of the Wizarding World once more....more

I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and the prominence of themes like love and friendship. This book, also, contains one of my favourite quotes ever;
"It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."
Overall, an astounding book and the Minalima edition made it an even more wonderful experience for me....more

I have watched the Harry Potter movies since I was a little kid and I was always in love with the story and characters. Prisoner of Azkaban has gradually become my favourite Harry Potter movie so I went into reading the book, already knowing the plot twists. However, I couldn't be more immersed in the book. I literally didn't want it to end. A true masterpiece. I learnt so much about Lupin and Sirius and the marauders.. The story about how Lupin would transform and how James and Sirius became animagi themselves to support their friend, showing how deep their friendship was. I always loved the time turner plot so much and the fact that Buckbeak and Sirius were saved and reading it in the book was truly an experience. The writing didn't disappoint once. Also, the fact that Harry thought his father saved him in the lake from the dementors and he kept waiting for him to appear only to realize that he has to save Sirius, Hermione and himself, that only he can save them, was a top tier moment, both in the movie and the book. It really shows Harry's true potential and most importantly how this vulnerable young man realizes that he has to save himself because no else will come to his rescue. In a sense, he realizes that his father, as Dumbledore says later on, lives through him. All in all, an astounding book. Can't wait to read the next one, Goblet of Fire, and continue reliving the magic. Until then, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!"
