I have to confess that although I'm a big fan of the podcast, I haven't "read" Knifepoint Horror. However, I feel comfortable leaving a 5-star review I have to confess that although I'm a big fan of the podcast, I haven't "read" Knifepoint Horror. However, I feel comfortable leaving a 5-star review anyway. Partly, it's because I want to show my appreciation for the audio version of these tales. They're smart, well-told (when read, at least) and genuinely creepy.
I'm also happy to give 5-stars because I want to offset the pretentious 1-star reviews from people who "won" the book and decided to give it a long-winded version of "I didn't like this very much because it's not the sort of thing that interests me."
1-star reviews are for things you HATE, everybody, especially if you got that thing for FREE FROM A RAFFLE. If you're JUST bored or disinterested, you should go LITERALLY masturbate instead figuratively doing it in front of all of us on goodreads.
I'm a HUGE fan of the podcast and, so far, the Novel is JUST as satisfying. I don't think you have to have listened to the podcast to "get it."
