This book is probably the worst book I've ever read, it doesn't even deserve 1 star but I don't think I can give 0 (I am new to good reads).
This book is probably the most dragging book I've ever read. Nothing new, just straight up copies of other books and the pacing... there is no pacing. There is nothing unique and fun about this book. The way the characters act and talk is straight up HORRIBLE. It is so cringe that I want to drink a memory erasing potion and delete this book from my memory. Reading 66 chapters of this book made me rethink my life and who I take book recommendations from. Besides the two last chapters got me straight up laughing. I first saw this book on booktok and then in the bookstore where it was about 30�. I'm sorry to say this but what a waste of resources this book is, both ink and paper.
This book has 2 things that are nice, the dragons and the gear the riders wear (it is described in a cool way). Other than that, if you have read romance focused stories (not even fantasy) with a "weak" turned into "badass" heroine, the story is pretty obvious. I could guess 99% of the plot.
Even with the characters being older than 18, it does not feel like that at all. The way they act and talk is so cringe. I really thought I would like this book considering it has like a billion 5 star reviews but I just got a good laugh out of it. If I ever read the second book, it will be for the meme.
I won't write much more because a lot of people have summed up it pretty well.
I'm sorry but this story was a copy paste of a whole bunch of older fantasy novels. 2 stars, if I'm nice....more
