This book had me crying and then a couple pages later I realized I didn’t need to cry? (If you know you know,lol) Stephanie Garber’s writing is like none other! She has a unique way of writing to make the reader be swooped into the magical world of Caraval. Throughout this book I truly felt connected with the characters and engaged in the story, there wasn’t a single time in this book that I found it got uninteresting or boring. Just be aware that Stephanie Garber loves to end chapters on cliffhangers! Whenever I was reading this at night I would tell myself just one more chapter over and over again. Next thing you know it’s 1:00 am lol! I would definitely recommend this book. I just started the second book in the series (Legendary) and the second I read the first sentence I told myself, ok here we go again, it was like coming back to an old friend. The second book in this was my favourite, but this follows close behind! In my opinion, I think this was needed. It gives us way more information on the family’s history and exactly why Tobias gave his inheritance to Avery. Overall I loved this series and thought this was the perfect conclusion to an absolute masterpiece by Jennifer Lynn Barnes! Would totally recommend this series and am excited to see what more Jennifer has in store for us. ...more
