I dont even like to read High fantasy usually but a dense for a Vance novel, story that is so imaginative, bold, ambitious and Vance at his literary best when it comes to prose style, use of language. I would like to write a lengthy review to analyse this like a literary class essay the many sides of this mysterious, beautiful novel but it still wouldn't do justice to this magnificent novel....more
