After bouncing around a couple of other locations, WITSEC deposits them in a small coastal Oregon town with an ultimatum that they either make a go of things here or they're out of the program and on their own. He really wants to fit in, stay below the radar and live a life free of complications while he struggles to redefine himself in his new reality ... and then he stops to help a stranded motorist with a flat tire and that complication-free life goes out the window. The story comes with a whole set of family and past life complications and a pair of lead characters with a lot of old scars and trust issues which help to make the central, strangers to lovers story all the more poignant. I couldn't put this one down and was glad for the cold, snowy winter weather that kept me indoors to read it.

I can't wait!" cliffhangers in the last couple of chapters. Many of the characters from the first story are still around and Kendra still needs rescuing, but the attention has moved to yet another sexy, "silver" fox from the Silver Security organization and a sexy but vulnerable former cop who catches his eye and turns out to be the perfect "pawn" to bring down the sex-trafficking organization the Silvers have a personal interest in bringing to justice. There are all sorts of sub-plots and supporting characters but I didn't have any problem keeping them all sorted out and I'm dying to know how it all works out ... so, where is that next novel?

Two hundred years later, a young New Yorker armed with an old legend and a necklace passed on by an old family friend, stumbles upon an antique mirror on her way to a St. Patrick's day celebration with friends. Fate, magic or just the Luck of the Irish, whatever the force that sparked that chance encounter, sparks are bound to fly when a beautiful, lonely orphan encounters a leprechaun who's been locked away from the gentler kind for 200 years. Hot, sexy and oh so sweet, you'll love this romance with a decidedly Irish twist.

Miami socialite Carla's family send her to Havana to visit her great aunt Lola Break of Day is a steamy hot romance with a decidedly Caribbean flair. Miami socialite Carla's family send her to Havana to visit her great aunt Lola and mend her broken heart. She is greeted, at the door by her aunt's boarder, the hot but surly Jonah. The chemistry between them is as hot as Cuba in hurricane season and just as unsettled. Even with their attraction to each other, they likely have never been more than housemates had fate not stepped in by throwing a real hurricane at the island, but that storm changes everything. Christopher has created characters in Jonah and the extended Hernandez family who are passionate, volatile and strong headed, but it's hard not to fall in love with them as they muddle their way through life, love and family. Each of them carries past baggage that threatens their future happiness and it often seems that a fairy tale ending is out of their reach. Free-spirited Aunt Lola will do everything in her power to make sure there's a happily ever after but it isn't until the final pages that we finally know for certain how everything will end up. The story stands well on it's own. It's the first of the 3 South Beach stories I've read but I never felt that I was on the outside looking in at the family. If you like romances with lots of spice and passion, this one is for you.

On the journey, he bonds with the neighbour's daughter who becomes his travel companion, confronts monsters including the dreaded Wendigo and finds clues, and some hope for his brother's continued survival. When a young woman wakes up on a strange man's floor she assumes she must have had quite a night and then that she must have died and is not a ghost. As it turns out, she's neither but she might be dead if she and Charlie, the man whose home she finds herself in can't figure out who's out to get her and why. This one's light heart and a lot of fun in spite of the violent plot. There a little romance and a whole lot of potential villains. A word of warning, although we know who-dun-it by the end of the book, there are some BIG things that still aren't resolved, so if you like your stories tied up with a bow keep in mind that this is book one of the series. I would recommend this one to any cozy mystery fan, particularly those who like paranormal twists.
