I enjoyed it, so much happens that in many ways I questioned if this wasn't the last book in the series even though I knew better. I'm unsure if this is even a 5star book objectively but I do love this world, the characters, the badass that is Aelin, the equally badass Manon <3 I still don't give a rats ass about Chaol, I'm still in love with Rowan (although I think his edges were softened considerably as to be unrecognisable sometimes). Most especially I love how this book made me feel, like I truly fell into this world forgetting everything, it so rarely happens anymore....more
