This is my 4th book by this author. Her stories are engaging - I enjoy reading about Indian culture, although there is almost a gothic romance feel to her writing somehow. This novel mainly revolves around Korobi, a newly engaged Indian woman who winds up on a quest seeking information about her parents. In addition to Korobi's narration, the novel shifts perspective to her grandmother, her fianc茅, and her mother in law. I always find that multiple point-of-view narration makes it more challenging for me to relate to/feel empathy for any one character, and this was no exception. And while I did enjoy the story, I thought the book dragged quite a bit.
