Every corner of this novel was a new character we had to assume, which if done correctly can be intriguing. In this situation it was not only not intriguing it was downright annoying. The characters that remain for the entirety of the book are often coarse in dialogue that would differentiate them..The plot itself wasn't necessarily bad it just was incredibly political in nature to the point where it feels like a grift of the last 2 years. Not the best Tom Clancy style novel I've read, but such is life....more
