It is the day before her daughter's wedding. Her ex husband arrives on her doorstep wanting to stay because he has a cat and the groom is allergic and he can't stay with his daughter as planned. Gail's daughter shows up in tears with a crisis and has to make a decision about her wedding. The people are different form his world. Women aren't included in the scientific world. But hidden away is a community that serve the others. They live in dirty and impoverished area. timeline is fluid and confusing a bit until the end. It's a story that really hits home with what is going on in our world right now. ...more
