I can see a lot of common points between me and Marjane, the only difference is :Our Parents.While she has parents who support her mentally and financially, I've to struggle in a Similar-Society ( just without Islamic Revolutionary Guardians and some forbidden stuff )all alone, even worst, against my own parents.I just can feel the same feeling of being " lost " as she did at the same age as me, Human beings can blossom in socially-free countries , so All I wish is the ability to leave the country, like the one she had....more

You can see the consequences of having an Islamic Government forbidding everything basic and necessary to a nice bearable life, and try to guess the reason why all countries having an Islamic government end up the same way!Marjane, you're so creative, u have an amazing imagination,innovation,and parents! I loved the way they took care of her education and books,the way they tried to live no matter what it'd cost them , the way they encouraged her to learn things by her own-self by buying her books to read. The book made me laugh so many times, taught me more - and easily - about Iran's history , impressed me and saddened me .. it's just AMAZING ! <3...more

It contained mainly photos, witnesses , and some versions of how people lived these moments ..I was 04 when it happened , I was in my grandma's house , and I still do remember this day, I have clear visions and images of The tours , the planes, thr collapse, maybe it was the first time in my life I realised America existed XD :D I have clear rootY souvenirs of that day :3 !...more
