I should have trusted the reviews that said it was incredibly boring. Those were accurate in my opinion. It’s like the ‘couldn’t put it down� people had read a completely different book.. The premise is fragile (recreate the past so that you can later hypnotize yourself into it) and the mystery (a letter mailed—why care) is thin. Life is too short to drink bad wine or waste time on this book. The Wikipedia plot summary did just fine for my remaining 66%....more
