Arthur Less is one of my favorite characters. He's got a great, warm heart; and he's pretty clueless about how to get about in the world. But I like that author Greer didn't turn him into a buffoon. He's more often bewildered about the people and world around him, but he manages to get through the tricky bits of life. The warmhearted humanity that Greer brings to his characters and stories delights me along with his light and limber prose. Highly recommended.
