I thought I was Team Colt after reading the first book. I flirted with being Team Cal/Joe after the second. Now I have finished the third book and I am ALL about Team Layne. The usual KA magic is wrapped up in 600 pages of drama, passion, second chance love, bitchy verbal slapdowns, action (both kinds) and that ever present thread of family whether it is blood relations or the friends you choose to make your family. The good guys always win and I love that. The ending is tied up with all the ribbons and bows. It is pure KA genius, heart and soul and I think Layne is my second favourite hero of hers so far. My KA Kindle heart will always belong to Hopper Kincaid!! Loved every page...more

Good book. Ryker is a sweetie. He knows what he wants and he goes for it. Oh.Yes.He.Does.... He is really NOT a manwhore, which is a refreshing change. Gray was a very understanding heroine. It was very magnaminous how she behaved towards the bitch of an ex wife but sometimes I wanted both of them to be less understanding and tolerant of her- hence not quite 5 stars.. I thought Gray was a good blend of driven and focused on one side , but feminine, funny and vulnerable on the other. Loved the relationship she had with her Dad. Lots of Sawyer Bennett magic in this book. Heaps of hot stuff mixed in with a story that grabs you from the start...it's all good
Re read via audible in June 2023. Cris Dukeheart Graham Halstead narrated (excellent). 7h 22m listening time.

Gorgeous book which centres around the relationship between May and Ozzie. Ozzie is the boss of Bourbon Street Boys Security and is ex military. And crikey is he hot or what? He and May meet in an unusual but very funny way. Their attraction to each other becomes very intense and May finds her life going down a very unexpected path. I adored the humour in this book. It is written in May's POV which is really well done. It is quite Bridget Jonesesque in places. I prefer books which are dual pov but that is just a personal choice and to be fair, the character of Ozzie is so well written that you know exactly what he is thinking anyway. This book has a really strong and entertaining supporting cast. May's nephew is adorable and the Sister, Jenny is fab. I hope she meets Dev somewhere down the line. And I am starting to think Felix and Sahara may need their own little novella!! The rest of the BSB gang are fascinating characters and I definitely want to read more about them. This story has a lovely ending and I am so looking forward to more....more

This is such a good read.
Meet Trouble ....he's tall, gorgeous, loyal and broody. He's also known as Brian & no offense to any Brian's or their loved ones but I much prefer calling him Trouble. In my head he did not fit the name Brian. Anyway...I digress.
Trouble meet Wild (also known as Syd) , and feel the chemistry hit you in the solar plexus. You can feel the intensity of their connection pulsating through the pages of this book. She is just out of a marriage that was decidedly lacklustre. He has been through the lowest part of his life. Fate steps in, they connect (quite literally) and a passionate, healing relationship begins.
This is such an enjoyable read that packs in every emotion. It is hilarious in places. Absolutely heartbreakingly sad in others. As a reader I felt angry and indignant on their behalf at times. The secondary characters absolutely rock this book. I am itching for December 6 2016 and the release of Hit The Spot which will be Jamie's story.
If you want a hot, sexy, sweet and addictive read then check this out. Trouble absolutely made this book for me. I loved his layers and the way he gives his heart to Syd.
This is the second book in the Dirty Deeds Series and focuses on the best friends of Brian and Syd from the first book. Jamie, o4 Jamie and Tori Stars
This is the second book in the Dirty Deeds Series and focuses on the best friends of Brian and Syd from the first book. Jamie, our hero is one passionate, driven, dirty talking, loyal and gorgeous Alpha male. The man is sex on legs. Tori is beautiful, loyal, adores her friends and family, is a true girly girl and despite her intentions she falls hard for Jamie but she refuses to tell him.
So why not 5 stars? Jamie seemed quite a different character in this book. I loved his loyalty and he could be very sweet in an Alpha bad*** way. But I felt like he morphed into a Kristen Ashley character because of the way he spoke. Tori spent ages pretending she wasn't in love with Jamie and that was a bit too much at times. In fact , for a while I was contemplating a 3.5 star rating but the story really picked up and I thought the ending was adorable.
Overall it was a really enjoyable read with heaps of passion . Lovely to see the other characters too.

Best ever Emma Chase book in my opinion. Brent Mason is one of the loveliest , funniest , most gorgeous hero's I have read in a while. Kennedy was a fantastically written and crafted heroine- just the right blend of sass , vulnerability and awesomeness! This book is funny, romantic, sexy, sweet and at times it moved me to tears. When I read what Kennedy had endured in her years at school I wanted to slap certain people upside the head. I wanted to hug her and I wanted Brent to go and kick ass big time. Equally, for all his self confidence, it was eye opening when Brent felt exposed to Kennedy and the scene where that happens is truly memorable. This is one of my top 2016 reads (already....it's only January!!). And just to say that epilogue was one of the best I have ever read.
August 2019 Re-read (audible)
I re read/ listened to this story which has long been a favourite of mine and I think I love it even more. Brent and Kennedy have one of the best second chance / childhood romances I have ever read. Add to that some outstanding secondary characters and some pretty addictive storytelling and this book is now firmly in my most favourites!

This is one HOT read. Packed with passion, this story revolves around Coletrane- the fairly newly patched in member of Retribution MC, and Sinclair Chatham, a gorgeous, well heeled socialite who drives a Trans Am and rocks Cole's world. The chemistry between these two is off the wall. I have to say this was my least favourite of the series and I think it was because it took me a while to warm up to these two. Having said that, there were parts of the book that made my heart ache for Cole, especially when he visits his Mum. His backstory is well written and makes our brooding biker seem more vulnerable. Cole is definitely the dark horse of the group. Sorry to see this series end. Ms Warren is on my list of one click authors for sure. ...more
I didn't think I would like Jordie in this book. I read 'Wanting To Forget ' and REALLY disliked him in that. I do not like 4.5 Kacey and Jordie Stars
I didn't think I would like Jordie in this book. I read 'Wanting To Forget ' and REALLY disliked him in that. I do not like seeing the 'hero' with other women and that was a large part of that book. It was a hard journey that Jordie went on to battle his alcoholism and the reasons for his addiction are revealed in Overtime and they are truly heart breaking. I liked that there was enough humour in the book to balance the dark themes that ran through it. Kacey is likeable and I really felt for her character- you could see the reasons why she doubted Jordie's ability to love her but crikey....once that man sets his mind to something there is no stopping him. Natasha was a big deal for me. I wanted Jordie to be harsher with her- she said some hateful things. But Jordie handled her in his way and I guess she got the message to back right off. I liked the way Kacey dealt with her much better! Just to say the whole name thing got rather confusing...3 female characters called Kacey, Lacey and Stacey....made my head hurt!! I had every faith in Toni turning Jordie around for me. It takes a special author to take their readers on a journey where you start off not liking the hero but end up really feeling for him and rooting for him 100%. Also, I do love catching up with our other Assassins characters. I think my heart will always belong to Shea though!! ...more

I absolutely adored this book. It had everything going on...Humour? Hilarious, laugh out loud funny. Heat Factor? Hell yeah. Angst? Yep...totally wanted to smack the hero upside the head. Twice. Addicitve? Ummmm....well, if staying up til the early hours because I simply HAD to see where the story went and then had to survive on coffee at work all day suggests an element of addiction , then count me in. I have not read the first book in this series but that did not affect my understanding of events in this book. The supporting characters are fab. But for me, what made this book work so well , was the interaction between Jake and the children. He really was their hero and the way it is written is just page turningly addictive. Excellent. And heartbreaking at times. (Particularly Rory ). I cannot recommend this highly enough. Stop reading the reviews and buy it. But maybe stock up on the coffee for tomorrow....you're going to need it.

Some have a flair for it...some struggle a little. Some MC books are very romantic, some very dark, some are graphically violent but they all have that solid, strong Brotherhood theme that draws me in like a moth to a flame. What Ms Fanetti does when she writes her hero is spellbinding. She makes them so multi faceted and layered. They are all biker alpha's but these guys run deep .
She tilted her head and gave him that wry look again."You're a vegetarian biker who reads Heidegger and speaks Greek?" "Yeah, I know. I'm a freak.I get that a lot." "No, you're not. It's not freaky.It's....interesting."
But Trick Stavros goes beyond Greek, Philosophy reading vegetarianism. He has experienced awful things that affect him deeply but he keeps it all locked in. He is such a lovely guy who has done, for various reasons, awful things and he is affected big time. My heart hurt for Trick. I wanted to reach in and hug him. Julianna, our heroine didn't seem quite worthy of him at times. Had Trick not been such an incredible Hero, I may have been giving 4 stars because I found her difficult to warm up to. But Trick, Lucie, Hoosier and Connor sealed the 5 stars for me. Also, she did improve as the story unravelled.
Lucie is just the cutest kid. She is precocious in the true (and positive)sense. The relationship between her and Trick was beautiful.
Connor still shines through as Trick's best friend. They have some really moving and funny moments.
As he hovered over his spew on all fours, gasping, his hair was pulled back, "I swear to Christ, I will end you if you tell another soul, in this life or the next, that I held your hair while you puked." Connor growled.
But for me the most moving moments were between Trick and Hoosier. Wow- Hooj and Bibi are just the most awesome established couple out of ALL the MC books I have read.
Susan Fanetti has ticked all the boxes with this deep and moving story. I have enjoyed every single one of her books. From Signal Bend to Night Horde, these characters will seize your heart and consume your mind. Trick really got under my skin.
So many contradictions in him. Gentle and rough, thoughtful and physical. Strong and vulnerable.
Just to say, make certain to read the afterword by Trick. It made me cry. Awesome doesn't even begin to cover it. ...more

J.Daniels is one of my few one click authors. I KNOW I am going to love her stories when I buy her books. She makes the writing seem effortless and the storylines flow beautifully. But it is the character development and the dialogue between them that seal the deal for me. Her books are ALWAYS page turners and ALWAYS cause me to read into the early hours...work be damned....which results in the need for copious amounts of coffee. And cake - because if you read about cupcakes enough you WILL want one. Trust me.
In this book we have the delicious, heartwarming Australian , Mason King. The man looks hot, talks hot,is hot. He is funny and sweet with a naughty edge. He is Tessa's friend from the All I Want series.('Bama boys....you best be warned, there is serious competition out there. Officer Ben Kelly has a rival for my Kindle heart) Brooke is seen in the Sweet Addiction series - she is Juls's sister and I have to say , in previous books she did not endear herself to me. But in this book she totally captured my attention and I liked her a lot. At times I felt so sorry for her. It was good to see behind the 'Devil may care' attitude she throws around. Our Brooke is a softie after all and Mason draws all of that out of her.
The heat factor is packing big time in this novel. The build up alone will have your Kindle melting. I will never look at photo booths the same way.
I would love to hear more about these two , despite their fabulous ending. A little novella maybe? A Christmas epilogue that encompasses all our couples? Anything Ms Daniels might throw my way???
It's a really lovely, funny, sexy, heart warming book. You really should read it. Yeah?

Craving Constellations has long been a favourite book of mine. It is one of the few MC books that I use to measure others in the same genre against. In the series as a whole there are some characters stories I have enjoyed more than others. I have to be honest and say that I really struggled with Poet and Amy's book. However, THIS book is BRILLIANT. For me it was on par with Constellations. Trix is Brenna and Dragon's girl. Cam is Farrah and Cody's (Casper's) adopted son. Cam is six years older hence he kept his distance at times. For years, Trix loved him from afar but he was oblivious because of her age. Will the Club Princess get the Club's player to fall for her? Or will she be forever in the friend zone? What will happen when disaster strikes and other circumstances put unimaginable pressure on these two? AH.....The course of true love and so on and so on............
And just to add, Dragon and Trix have one of the best Father/daughter relationships I have read. Awesome and beautiful. ...more

I have wanted this book for soooo long. I think we are spoilt these days with the amount of dual pov books. but despite that I have ALWAYS wanted to be in Christian's head to see how he viewed events in the book. 'GREY' delivered that and then some. Now, I have seen some reviews that slate Ms James and were, frankly, rather rude about her writing style. My question to these people is, who is the record breaking mega rich author in this situation? Who galvanised loads of people to start reading again and rediscover a love of books? Who inspired loads of people to buy e readers and download books? Well, it certainly isn't the Poison Pen Brigade. If you did not like FSOG, you are unlikely to enjoy this book. If the author has said quite clearly that this is the story from Christian's viewpoint , why are some people expecting a whole new book? It is not a 'cut and paste' novel. In this book you get a real insight into this damaged hero and his relationships with those around him.I was relieved at how cool he was with The Bitch Troll, was mad at him when he kind of defended her but I loved how he slowly began to question his relationship with her. His sense of humour came through beautifully. But, ultimately it was mesmerising to watch him fall so completely in love with Anastasia. Grey takes you past where FSOG ends and where Darker starts. It ends on a much more positive note than it's counterpart. Now.....If Ms James would just write the other two books from Mr Grey's pov.......That would be perfect....more

This is the first book in the spin off series about the guys from Retribution MC. Hunter is the hero, he is fairly new to the MC but this guy has a dark, dark history. Our heroine is Jessica/J.B and she is a feisty character. Together their chemistry is explosive. Lots of really intense and well written hot scenes. The MC serves as a background more than a full on view of day to day life in an MC. There are no sweetbutts/ biker groupies to speak of and the President (Boomer) and VP, Brodie , although important in parts are in the background. Out of all the heroes (Josh, Nick, Brodie) I have read so far, I found Hunter the hardest to warm up to. I still liked him but it took a while. Jessica is very alpha, especially in the bedroom! But, together they work. Good Start To the spin off....more
