Beautifully illustrated by Divya George, Tiki Tim offers a simple story with underlying layers of deeper meaning throughout. On the surface, the story captures the challenges children face when they move to a new place. Beneath that, it delves into the power of hope and the appreciation of living life to its fullest. Aesthetically, I love how the artwork compliments the writing perfectly. Tiki Tim is such a lovable character. He makes me want to read more stories about his future adventures. The look on Tiki Tim’s face while singing karaoke with his new friend Kai is priceless! I can’t wait to share this uplifting story with my 5-year-old granddaughter. I know it will prompt us to talk about the importance of acceptance, friendship, and how fun memories are made. She will be able to see how creating new friendships makes life an incredible experience. ...more
