some things that annoyed me: - mentioning she's small every other page - I wish Josh didn't fall in love with Lucy the second he saw her I wish it was more of a gradual thing but that's more of a personal preference - I feel like around the middle of this book there was way more focus on appearances and I wish there was more emphasis on things other than Joshua Templeman's muscles - I stg Lucy mentioned she was a brunette so I was imagining her as such but then all of a sudden the author says she has black hair? Why is the girl on the cover a brunette too huh???

I honestly have no idea why I like this book so much. something about it just spoke to my melodramatic 13 year old soul and it still does rn. I'm rating it so high because it's stuck with me for so many years and for whatever reason was memorable to me so yeah lol
it's not a perfect 5 because I have some small issues (Taylor's dreams, kinda messy beginning, what was the point of the territory wars?? although it did kinda add a fun Disney movie nostalgic vibe for me lmao)...more
