I think one of the reasons I liked this book was because compared to other books written by Meg Cabot this once seems a little more realistic. Although I still think she should stick with the paranormal romances, Pants on Fire is a pretty cute story about a girl who thinks she has it together than realizes she might not. It actually got me thinking of the choices I make and how the opinion of others affect my decisions. There's actually a message here that I can easily find, not like in other books where you end up looking for hidden meanings that may not even exist....more

And why not it's great, it's cute and it's a lot of fun to read. Plus they're quick reads so you don't have to spend so much time on them.
There are some parts in the book that bothered me, but I don't even remember what they were anymore, so it obviously wasn't a big deal....more

I'll admit all the complaints it's received is probably why I gave it a higher rating. To bad it's with a fictional character, unless there really is someone like that out there... Yeah I finished the last PD book, as in no more of that for me. (Unless I reread them which I probably will.) I'm never going to read another book in my life, none can top this or I don't want it to be topped.
Shaking my head at myself for this one, I was way out there, and that's only the half of it. It was also before I knew there was going to be ten in the series, I didn't even know there would be a fifth.
Although I will say I wish I could be this honest about my feelings towards book today....more
