I read this great book because my daughter was reading this for school. I have to say she (my daughter) is challenging as she does not love reading. SI read this great book because my daughter was reading this for school. I have to say she (my daughter) is challenging as she does not love reading. She is in 5th grade and bright yet easily bored. She could not put this book down. I was shocked. I was so shocked that I read a few chapters with her and was hooked. What a great historical story that had such a strong, amazing young girl character to which my daughter and I related immediately. In addition, the Berlin Wall is such an amazing piece of history which needs to be told and this story explained it so well. Loved, loved this book!...more
