Crystal or Ellie, because our heroine has two names, has a hard life. She is quite alone in the world and doing her best. She doesn't believe that something good can meet her. When she met Gabriel, she has a big wall around herself and not let anyone come near. Even if he is completely different from everyone in the place where they meet.
Gabriel also has a tragic past, but the support of loved ones and the belief that he can be happy allows him to lead a good life. But it is not that it comes easily to him. When he met Crystal, he see her. And he can not stop coming back and fight for her.
I can not reveal too many details of the plot, because it wouldn't be surprising for you to read. The characters have some tragic past behind them, but this is not a depressing story. More inspiring and uplifting. It can add you faith that good things can come. It's really heart touching.

To be exact, her new neighbor Finn Hollis. He is struggling with a past that he can not let go. He pulled away from everyone and lives like a loner. The new girl pisses him off and intrigues him at once.

It's kind of enemies to lovers story. At the beginning they don't like each other, but it is not a real hate. More annoyance of the feelings the other side causes. I enjoyed this moment of the story. Their contacts were absorbing. It quickly developed and was very easy to get entangled with.
The heroine is easy to like. Her upbringing made her an interesting figure. Even exasperating and hard-hearted Finn could not resist. Very moody and sexy Finn, I would like to add. They were cute together. And I liked how they discovered themselves in every possible way.

What I also liked are amazing secondary characters. Especially Josh and Miller will bring a lot of entertainment to the story. Hope they get their own. The whole town makes that you want to visit, get to know them all and hang some tings. What an amazing idea.
The storyline is just very complex. Emotional, sensual, mysterious and captivating. At every moment, I was curious what will happen next and I never get bored. It's unpredictable. You can count on twists, especially at the end that make you impatiently expect the next part. It's not that far, November 1st, so do not hesitate just read this amazing book.

After all that happened in the first part we all waited for the finale and how the hell is going to go. I send you back to my review of Black Hearts because I wrote quite a lot about the story and the characters there. And there is no way to go without this and spoilers are not my thing.
What I can tell you is that the second part doesn't disappoint, although it is much different. Much darker and as expected much more disturbing. Hard to say that I enjoyed it (you'll know what I want to say as you read this), but great development of the action definitely pulled me in.

Now I can say that I grew to like the characters and I'm happy that Karina Halle plans to write more independent parts, because many secrets can still be discovered and it will be definitely an exciting road.
I may repeat myself, but I envy those who have the time to read the previous books. Fortunately you can read this duo without reading them. And really it doesn't matter, because from which series you wouldn't start, the author hasn't failed me yet and I can safely recommend any of her books.
Definitely for mafia romance fans and not very sensitive to abuse.

It wasn't easy to figure out. Many secrets and twists and you don't know how it supposed to work out. For a long time I did not know what to think about Vicente. Be ready for the savage anti-hero. He was ravishing and delicious, but his intentions are not always clean and clear. Definitely thanks to him, your dirty minds will enjoy wild, adventurous and scorching hot scenes. And lots of them!

We have here a well-developed multiple POVs. And it was interesting to be able to read this story from many sides, but that also made the plot was developing too slowly sometimes.
This forbidden love story will not let you sleep until you reach the last page. It has connection to the earlier books, but you can safely read it as standalone. For instance, I never read this side of Karina, and perhaps this made it even more surprising reading. But I envy all those who have the time to read all these books. I think it's worth it, like really any other novel under Karina Halle 's pen.

Finally we could know the story of Claire and it wasn't easy one. This review is difficult to write because you do not want to write anything that would betray even a small part of the story. Firstly you need to read the first part, this is called a duet not without reason. Secondly, when you read it, no one will have to persuade you to read the continuation.
This part is more suspenseful. We have more action, but there is also plenty of room for emotions and feelings. Our new couple has no easy beginning but that sweeter are their well-deserved good moments. I absolutely adore them together. Their chemistry is great and their story really draws you in.

What completes even more a whole storyline is more Roman and Elisabeth. Their lives are closely tied together after the events of the first book, so it could not be otherwise. But I love the fact that we got four pov, what made that this book is even more unique and excellent.

The plot seems to be well known, but still it is quite in the Alexa Riley style and this alone makes it different. Young heroes are wonderful and you can easily fall in love with the hero, who is strongly possessive and protective. And it's sweet as hell! Completely stunning! They will make you smile all the time, and it's steaming in a completely new pure and innocent way. Story also has a darker side making it more complex. I think, it's one of the best books of Alexa Riley!

They didn't have much, but being together was enough. Until they wanted to start a family and everything got complicated. She couldn't stand it and walked away. Two years later, he is rich and successfull CEO, but still wasn't able to forget about her. Fate had it, although it was not really fate, more like devastating information, that they met again in unexpected situations and it will give them a second chance to regain the trust and love.

Final thoughts: I had a lot of scenarios in my head when I was waiting for this book. And nothing, absolutely nothing prepared me for what I have read. All these emotions. It was unbelievable. Shocking and sad, but also heart warming and completely wonderful at once. Even in difficult situations there are moments in which it was so funny. I laughed at one point to cry in the second. When it was scary, you feel fear when it was love you feel love. Absolutely excellent writing!

The different pov, changing pace of the action, overclocking emotions, all that will stick you to the story from first page to the last.

About the plot: The first part ends with a partial HEA for one sister and the cliff to the other. It's Zelda Wilder, who still needs to fight for her happy ending with MacCallum. She is on the run and must looking over her shoulder, because dangerous people are looking for her. Cal decides to go after her and help her. The last contact they had was from the Tortola island. He finds her, but after a few beautiful moments, the problems and tragedies begin again with double force.

Final thoughts: Although the first part ended with a bang, the action begins quite slowly and surprisingly pleasant. We do not have to wait long for a romantic scenes between two lovers. They find each other and spend together some wonderful moments on the beautiful island. But good things must come to an end, and then the action picks up speed, it gets dangerous and even frightening. Unexpected action makes that things get more emotional. You almost have to wait until the very end to difficulties resolved in favor of the heroes.
At the beginning I missed Ava and Rowan pov, which we had in previous book. I didn't think that without it, is impossible to finish the story. But really, there was not space for that. A nice surprise was the information at the end, that there will be another part. It doesn't end with the cliff, but there are some unfinished business. I definitely can't wait to read more about Ava and Rowan. And from this story was born a new hero, sexy bodyguard Logan, whom you also will want to know closer at the end.
Finally, I think it was a very original story. It took a very unexpected turn and I liked the characters so much that I read with bated breath to the very end. I think it is good for a recommendation for those who want to read a little different kind of romance with more suspenseful thread.

Excellently written dark character. It's crazy how he changed from dangerous and violent hero into a sweet and addictive. It's just phenomenal and easily my favorite part of the book. I am not a fan of ends, actually, I do not know what I expected but it seems rushed.
If you are not afraid of dark erotica and are not easy offend or too sensitive, it is the book for you. But then and only then, no exceptions. Highly inappropriate and totally wicked.

Two damaged heroes. One short romantic story with such a good theme that I'm terribly sad that it is not longer. I would have wished to read such books in full length. If you go into this blind the beginning is a highly confusing. But when you read further everything jumps into the place.
Gabe Paterson is a popular and successful author, but his past puts a dark color on his life. He is trying to deal with that problem, and in this way he meets Elena. At one of their meetings they start the most honest conversation that they ever had, and reveal their deepest secrets. They catch real connection together, which could have a lot of possibilities if only they could be brave enough.
Although it is a short story everything has its place and is well developed. In such small words, Molly create a real emotions and feelings. The heroes are complex and have moving stories to tell. They are genuine and you can't not cheer for them. It's easy to fall in love with this unique and profound story and its heroes. I wish I could read more. I'm sure that there can still be a lot of beautiful words to write.

About the plot: Maggie meets Sven when she comes to his nightclub to find out something about who is behind the abuse of her sister. She is determined, and despite the lack of help, appears a club every night and makes turmoil. He doesn't know what to do with her and after suggestions decides to give her personal assistant job, so that he can control her. The more time they spend together, and the more they got to know themselves, they became more closer to each other. First, friendship and then a crazy feeling. The twist in the book begins when she wakes up naked in Sven's bed, with no memory of the night before.
Final thoughts: This book has many layers of small and larger threads. What I liked most of all is the characters and interactions between them. Very funny, tough and sassy heroine is my favorite. And grumpy, charming and completely in love hero is right on. They have lots of fun together. Their arguments are highly entertaining. And I love them together.

This is my first book of the author. Although not the highest rating, I still like her writing style. Its easy and holding attention. I'm pretty sure that I reach for more books of this author.

Lainey after years of suffering decided to go forward. The death of her great love imprinted hard on her. But she learned to love another man and now plans marry him. That's when Cody comes back. In the circumstances that cause an even greater mess than the resurrection itself.

What I like? This is a very well written. The whole background story is very original. Lots of good quotes. The best part of the book is the main hero - Cody. He is intriguing, sweet and your heart beat faster for him, for sure. The sex scenes are hot and pretty bold. My kindle is full of highlights from this book.
“I’m the same person. A little beaten down, a little inked up, with some external scars, but inside,� I say, bringing her hand to rest on the left side of my chest, “I’m the same. Getting another chance with you was, at best, my wildest dream during my darkest days.�
And I have a little regret that I have a few things to complain about. But not always and for everyone can be perfect.
What I don't like? For me, too much unnecessary drama. I don't like when the heroine does not think. It just pisses me off. I understand that it builds up tension in the whole story and heroine going through a transformation during the plot, but this book has all the means to be an emotional tearjerker and it is not. At least for me.
Quickly it is known that there is a secret and it has a twist. It is gradually exposed, but requires a little patience. A little confusing and strange at certain moments. I have not mentioned the third in the triangle. Well .... I should probably just leave it at that. It's all just annoyed me and does not allow to enjoy the great history.
Final thoughts: When I started this book I did not know it is part of a series. But I do not think that it mattered. These books seem to be more independent than the related series. I definitely wanted to check it out. Because the writing is great and so unique story is something that is always worthy of attention. In conclusion 3 star, which we often forget, this is still - I like it.

This quote above almost perfectly describes Logan and Alyssa story. It doesn't have simple, unchanging and steady plot. It is beautiful, but heartbreaking complex story. We get to know the characters over the years, from the kids about 15 years old to adulthood. We are with them when they have their ups and downs. When they grow up and learn to live on their own mistakes. When they fall in love and learn to love.
The book is not short, but so well written that I read it quickly and is highly addictive. You can be ready for a lot of different events and issues with secondary characters. Everything and everyone have their share in the story, even the smallest event and character. When reading you think you know what's going to happen, but the truth is that you have no idea.
I had a problem with writing a review immediately after reading. My problem was that I sometimes I could not understand Logan. But approaching this with more distance, I can say that I can more understand his character. His not easy story is worth know yourself because it touches many difficult topics. And perfectly fulfilled saying - life is a circle. The book definitely worth reading!

Because despite the fact that this book takes us to the beginning, a lot is going on in the previous parts that have an impact on the situations and emotions. Although it is described here is not the same thing as you go through this whole from the beginning of the series.

About the plot: It started very early because already when Liv and Quarry were children. They caught an incredible bond, and from an early age causing all the trouble together. They shared all their fears and secrets with each other. For Liv their bond was unusual, she has a bad childhood and now has problems with opening and trust. He was also her very first crush. So when he took advantage of knowledge about her biggest fears, he lost her trust and their friendship fell apart.
Over the years they missed each other but only when Liv learned that he lost his hearing has decided stretch out the her hand to him. But life goes on and things have changed. Now she had to learn to let go and just be a friend. Because he has a girlfriend.
The thing is, Mia is awesome and she became also her best friend. So when Mia "walks away", both of them can not find their place, but hold firmly together. But what will happen, when the old feelings revived? It's only then begin the true love story of Liv and Quarry.
Final thoughts: Childhood friends. First love. Death. Friendship. And soulmate love. It's all here. I have to admit that I had problems with the continuous presence of Mia between them. I hate the fact that they could not have a straight path. But who has it? Certainly not Page brothers. It really is bittersweet.
So we have to survive the first heartbreak, the fear about the future and many others to get a happy ending. Whether it was worth it? Absolutely yes. The author writes an amazing books, which are absorbing and draw you from the first page. These are amazing stories that move you and touch your heart.
Completely perfect the end of the series. It is very sad that this is the end, but the last few pages are just perfection. These scenes from the holidays, the fight, and epilogue. Sighs! You'll cry, you'll laugh, you can just count on everything. I love every minute of it!

About the plot: Ava has peaceful and joyful life, under the protection of her father's club, a loving family and a tight-knit group of friends. But when someone drugged and kidnapped her, she found herself in a situation in which there is no correct answers and behavior. Despite that she came out of this alive, is completely broken and nothing will ever be the same again. She is on the path of self-destruction, and no one can protect her from it.

Lucas finds her at her worst moment. He helps her, but is a bit more caring than require from him, his profession. He sees in her what he survived alone, what he continued to struggle. Tragedy, destruction and not coping with the situation. He has a lot of problems on his head, and although the circumstances are less than favorable, decides to help her in her fight.
"This is the kind of man my father and his club run from, the kind of man they despise, yet he’s walked me through my darkest hour. �"
What I like? It is not entirely based on the love story. It is here and is an important thing because thanks to this feeling things improving. But most of the book is based on coping in a difficult life situation through which you will find love. It makes me positively surprised. Of course there are hot and cute moments between the two lovers. But it does not occupy half a book of descriptions. There are other events that are very interesting and the more you read the more you want to know.
It is very well written. Part of the book is as Then through Lucas eyes and you find out what are his nightmares progressively. At the same time, we have Now through Ava eyes. I know that not many people like such a division, I don't, but it is fantastically done here. Turn the excitement and enriches the story. There's a moment when his Then is her Now, and it is incredibly well done. My favorite moment.

What I don't like? Actually up to 70% I loved everything in this book. Then things a little too easy get solved. It has a few weak points or questionable moments. I don't know if such a thing exists, but nevertheless it is more soft-mc romance at the end. Because I read a lot of them already, and I am unable to imagine that things so well arranged themselves with such a scheme of events.
Final thoughts: I expected something else from this book, and it surprised me in a positive way. It keeps you in suspense and emotional stage. I have not read The MC Sinners series, original part of this spin off, for now because I want to catch up, but I can imagine how for a fan of this series is a wonderful continuation. Because who wouldn't want to read about the children of characters of the previous part all grown up and adult? I would give a lot to have that opportunity in many other books.

It is very common and repeatable type of story, but have to admit it's very pleasant to read. About the plot: Harper Connelly runs away from her past. She was attacked by her ex-boyfriend and even though he is now in prison and she is far from home, can not deal with normality. This left her scars, not only the physical but also the mental. Finally she decides to do something about it and goes to the tattoo studio, which is owned by Trent Andrews. Trent enjoys life, even though he has some problems with his self-worth that simply hides well. When he meets Harper, sees something about her so valuable that pretty quickly decides to risk his heart. Together Harper begins to open and re-build her confidence. To a time when past reminds about yourself.
Final thoughts: This book has a very good start. I quickly got caught with the story but unfortunately it was not so happily to the end. And although I gave a fairly high rating I have some doubts. Starting from the fact that it is written in the third person. I am not a fan of this type of narration. To the end I could not quite get used to it, but definitely it's a personal thing.
As already mentioned, the beginning of the book is very addictive and quite original, but the whole story was very predictable for me. This is a fairly typical story, maybe even sometimes it was too long and when I was aware of what will happen I would prefer more action. The main characters for their age seemed to me as immature. Sometimes it was even a little too perfect and I had to rolling my eyes. But I'm not sure if behind all my hesitation is not responsible still the narration. I am simply not a fan of this.
So why such high rating? In fact, it is 3-4 stars, regardless of my doubts. I could considered them immature, but it did not bother me so much to not like them and enjoy their history. This relationship is well built, from start to finish developing so well that reading it was enjoyable. A group of friends is also really promising, so for sure I reach for another part. And it has certainly funny moments.

It all starts with tense and questions, that with time and little by little you discover in the later books. After the second book, which ends with a terrifying and at an unknown point, you enter the third in the middle of chaos and action. Finally you get a scene, which start the whole series in the prologue and in suspense you can see how it all resolved. It's dangerous and the level of risk that everything will end badly is quite large. But the secrets will be disclosed, and decisions will be taken. At some point.

Once again we have a great sexy scenes. They like it raw, fierce and passionate, on the edge of bdsm. It is hot and burning. But what surprised me most of all is how wonderfully sweet and charming were our heroes. Thay created a really successful relationship together. And it was wonderful how they care about each other, support each other and love each other. I really did not expect after them so warm and fuzzy feelings. Their relationship has changed in the best way possible.

Throughout the series I had a lot of questions and suspicions. So I am happy that finally I could check them out and see the end of the story. Well, only if it is completed? It was the most bizarre epilogue with the HEA, which really did not end the story. Because there are those who want revenge and I'm curious if it means a continuation? If so, I'm definitely curious. Never enough of Hunter and Erin. I loved them completely.
I highly recommend this series especially if you like suspenseful action, hot moments on the edge and great love story.

They have a short but wonderful time together, which must end with the back to real life. The universe, however, has its own plan for it. And they will meet again, and their lives will never be the same again.
Final thoughts: This is a wonderful emotional book with a dark twist. It's definitely suspense, lots of action and some dangerous events. It's all kept in tension until the very end. Some things probably too easily have been resolved, but the plot keeps more to romance than criminal aspects. Jade and Brock relationship doesn't have easiest path, and they will have to cope with many bumps along the way. You will not have a problem with stay engaged to the plot.
I really like the heroine of this story. On the one hand she was a prostitute and was able to keep up elegant and refined appearance, but behind closed doors was a simple, sweet, even an innocent girl. Damaged and enslaved. Her story can break the heart. It's easy to like and cheer for her to get free from this life. And Brock in this story is her real hero.
What is cool in the Perry's books, is that the story doesn't end right after as the problems was solved. We have the opportunity to read more about how the characters are doing before the start of the epilogue. And this is nice. Especially if you like the story and don't want to end it. And I very much I like a romantic HEA, which has been written here.

She realizes that she has lost her memory, or rather displace it, because something bad happened to her. She is a victim of mugging and run away from the Italian Mafia.
Handsome stranger, Kayden is her only help. He tries to help regain her memory and identity. But she is not sure if she could trust him. She has a strong sense of familiarity that attracts her to him. But having no other choice, decides to trust and stay with him. This results in deep chemistry between them.

Thread develops with her progressively returning memory and Kayden 's past that haunts him and does not allow to move forward.

Final thoughts: It is high suspense. Ella's snatches and inaccurate recollections cause a large amount of speculation, uncertainty and searching for solutions. It's very addictive and keeps your interest all the time. I feel for her a lot of sympathy and compassion, the girl is completely in the dark looking for her allies, and to this she entangled herself in the hot emotions with someone who can not fully trust.
Also it's easy to be attracted to Kayden, his possessions and protectiveness even though you feel that he is hidding something huge, is irresistible. He is fully alpha male and his job introduces a lot of intense action to the story. The chemistry between the two is significant, even though there's not a lot of sex scenes. It's definitely the topic that just kicks in more sizzling direction. But those scenes that you can read, burn you up for sure.
“The minute you stepped into my room,� he murmurs, nibbling at my neck, “you became mine tonight. Mine to tease. Mine to please. Mine to fuck how I want.�
Magnificently written. I want so much to know what this is all about. It's entertainment at a high level. You have a lot of your own feelings, which change with the passing of the book. To the very end again draw even greater doubt. Lots of questions, concerns, we are not even close to the discovery of the events that happened to Ella and unknown where in all this is Kayden, is fascinating.
I have my suspicions and I can not wait to discover all the secrets. Certainly, it will be one of the most anticipated books in the coming year for me. Highly recommended.
