Then I realized I’ve been singing it since I started this book.
This book had so much that I truly enjoyed. The characters the arc of the story the development and just an honest to god decent man.
He put her first so often and even at the end did the one thing he knew would hurt him and I’m just glad they worked it all out.
I loved their banter, the flirting, everything. Highly recommend.
I am also, in case you were wondering, reading the series backwards! It’s a Gen kind of thing. Bring on Kai and Miller! ...more
I enjoyed this book a lot, specifically the fact that Shane a**spoiler alert** Didn’t expect to cry.
But death of a parent will do that to an orphan.
I enjoyed this book a lot, specifically the fact that Shane and Diana had their own separate moments of “Oh, you’re attractive and I think I really will enjoy being you.
Elle Kennedy has written so many leading men and woman and it amazes me how she doesn’t ever truly repeat any of them. You’d think after a few you’d get into this repetitive traits or what not, but I feel like every single character is always different.
Diana hit home for me the most when she found herself having anxiety. She was confused and alarmed because she’d never had it before and she didn’t know what to do with it.
I’ve always been an anxious person but it got a lot worse after my second child was born and it hits you like brick all of a sudden out of nowhere. So seeing her navigate that was incredible.
The two of them together just clicked and like I said above, it was fun to watch them both realize they had feelings. When Shane looks at Diana and just says, “Have you always been this hot? Like he never truly paid attention before was so cute.
This was a cute quick read but also took a turn with two very large plot twists. I didnt expect any abuse to be had but Percy turned into an asshole, another moment that broke my heart was her doubting if it was her fault or not. Like did she do something to make him hit her. As well as in the hospital when Shane saw her and just cried, I felt like I could literally feel that scene and watch it.
Idk I’m rambling as usual. But I will say that I did not enjoy Will watching and getting off to them do it. I know it’s a moment bc Will didn’t think he could with anyone but Beck, but it was very random for Shane to get involved in that dynamic and then how do you go back to normal? Idk weird for me.
I remember reading the originals and falling so in love with hockey books. They were for me at least, the original hockey romances. It was really fun I remember reading the originals and falling so in love with hockey books. They were for me at least, the original hockey romances. It was really fun to read about Graham and Wellsys daughter and see the rest of the gang. I think a lot of people are mad because the next book skips to Gigi and Ryder’s friends, but knowing Elle Kennedy, we will see the rest of the gang.
Anyway, this book was literally top tier. I loved every second and will absolutely be reading it again and again the same way I devoured the rest of the Elle Kennedys books.
However, and maybe it’s because I’m just realistic. I did not enjoy the marriage at 21 trope. Their reasoning was amazing, but it’s the age for me.
Besides that; I laughed I cried I cringed and fell in love with the next generation.
Also, I definitely need an Alex and Owen book ASAP. ...more

I did not enjoy this book at all. The beginning was promising and I really enjoyed the ER visit where Jess was an ass and called GiGi out for staring at him. It then just took a turn for the worst.
I was not a fan of the alpha male Jess became and what a pushover GIGI became because of him.
Like this guy I demanding and basically telling you you’re dating, he’s staying the night, stated calling you his girls after one date. It was too much too fast and I don’t like bossy men and women who melt at the sight of them.

I don’t know what it is, the way she describe the men in her books-Always has me swooning! Crew was perfect to me. I loved how supportive he was of Raven, and how quickly he realized how much he missed his family and his home.

The first half of this bo**spoiler alert** So very hard to rate this book honestly. I had read another’s review and it was almost exactly how I felt.
The first half of this book felt very different from the last half. We had a clear picture of what was happening, there was a book “The Grimoire telling the witch what to do. Then in the other hand there was a prophecy foreshadowing what was to come on the other end. They basically meet in the middle with both.
There is tension because we know neither wants to fulfill their end. Agatha wants to stop causing death and destruction with her tasks from the book and Grimm has a secret mission we don’t truly understand until a little further into the book.
They do eventually marry and fulfill part of their task. But I just felt like we didn’t really get a lot of information as to why the people weren’t happy or why they needed to appease them other than they’re poor and we’re rich? And don’t get me wrong this isn’t me bashing the book, because I was hooked. I just needed a little more information to go on.
Agatha starts to try to further fulfill her part of the deal making the people love her with fashion statements and speeches while Grimm is researching this mysterious tonic they all take that somehow gives the royals control over people?
So there were just a lot of informational gaps and then a lot of over sharing at other times.
The second half turns into like an action packed movie almost and takes a turn from the narrative of the first half. Im curious to see where it goes now that EVERYONE is on the same page including her sisters. ...more

Then there was just like fifth chap**spoiler alert** The plot was amazing. Hooked from the beginning, loved this one so much more than the first one.
Then there was just like fifth chapter (exaggeration) of them having sex.
I get that smut is what we’re all here for, but am I the only one who enjoys like 3-4 really good scenes as opposed to multiple chapters of constant sex?
This storyline was so good, accidental pregnancy with what people would consider town trouble/trash on whatnot based on who his father was. Him falling first years before but never doing anything because he never felt worthy of her.
But then him being such a good pre dad and after dad. Making dinner rubbing her feet making her sit and bussing her tables at the bar. It was such good content and I just felt like it was really overdone on the smut aspect.
I ended up skimming a lot of those chapters because there are only so many times you can really enjoy it after that. ...more

The storyline was very well written, I enjoyed that the author didn’t have Cecily magically be healed once she got to the ranch. The characters were really funny and I wanted more of the other ranch hands.
I didn’t so much enjoy that once the sex seal was broken they were doing it on every other page. It just takes away from the story for me. We could have afforded a few fade to blacks in this one.
I’ll more than likely check out the rest of the series to see who else she expands on. ...more

I think I would have enjoyed it a little more if they were insta love. I love a good backstory and history for the characters which is why I think i enjoyed Rosie and Fords book a lot more. I also found myself more interested in Tabby and Rhys too and the brief moments we got from them.
West and Skylar’s story was very predictable, especially when they released the pictures. But it was still well written and had me turning the pages quickly to see when they’d combust with each other.
