I felt that I really "got" what the author was trying to achieve here. I just didn't appreciate it. There wasn't enough of an overriding story to connect the smaller stories. It was too hard to keep up with all the characters in their different iterations and consequently I just didn't really care about them that much. What happened exactly? I couldn't tell you only that by the end I was just glad to be done with it. Too bad because there was so much untapped potential here. On the bright side it seems to be a perfect set up for a video game, so maybe that will work out better....more
